I used peacock inspiration for my wedding. We didn't actually put any feathers in the centerpieces, but we did but feathers at each place setting. We had two different centerpieces, one floral and one candelabra.

My theme is peacock feathers as well. I'm still trying to figure out what to do myself. Here are a couple of inspirations.
@DeaconBride - That is gorgeous! I am definitely not that talented though. I should have mentioned all my decor is DIY. :)
i am doing a peacock themed wedding, and am doing tall vases with poofs of glittered baby's breath and peacock feathers in the centerpieces.
i am also using some black birdcages as decor.
i am focusing more on the color scheme (blues and greens) rather than the actual feathers. if you use too many feathers, you could overdo it.
I'm a DIY gal with a peacock theme, too! I like heatherrobyn's suggestion of not worrying about incorporating feathers into everything. The plan for our centerpieces is a beveled mirror with 4+ votives around a large vase that is filled with floral gel in different colors of teal/blue/purple. We'll also place the same colored floralytes in the large vase as well, to give the tables some color/glow when the lights go down for the dance. We're focusing more on the color theme, with the peacock feathers as accents to tie it all together.
@heatherrobyn & @NDBee - Couldn't agree with you both more! We are having three centerpieces - the first 2 I have decided for sure. (One is a bubble bowl with clear stones, hydrangea and water... The other is 3 cylinder vases at varying heights with water and floating candles.) I am having trouble trying to figure out what to do for the 3rd for sure and it was originally going to be the only one with feathers, but now I think I am going to do something simple like candle sticks or a pompander on top a taller vase.
I think to incorporate the feathers a little, I am going to include them on the table numbers and then maybe have 2-3 big vases of them spread around the reception.
We are focusing a lot on the colors as well, I can't wait to post pictures!!! Not sure how I am going to wait 10 more months! :)
I'm a DIY bride with peacock feathers in my theme too. Sounds like it's popular these days. We are focusing on the blues and greens like @heatherrobyn is too. I haven't decided on my centerpieces yet, but I'm leaning towards not using feathers in them at all just the colors. Hmm... this post has been helpful in giving me ideas too. Good luck on your search for the perfect DIY center pieces.
Amazingly enough, my florist would only charge me $25 to do that centerpiece (if I supply the vase. I am also thinking of flowers with simple touches of feathers.
Here is more inspiration
i don't have any pictures but i have seen a fan of peacock feathers laid down in a circle in the center of the table and either a group of different height taper candles (on some tables) or lantern (on other tables). it looked great and i know the bride got her candles and lanterns from the outlet mall.
Here's a photo of our centerpieces and cake. I got vases from Michael's, peacock feathers from a vendor friend, clear and purple beads from Garden Ridge, birch sticks from my florist and acrylic strings of beads online. It was a lot of work to gather the materials but it worked!
I haven't put my items up for sale in classifieds yet, but I have 20 centerpieces worth of items. Let me know if you want them! I don't want to get in trouble by posting in the wrong section, message me if you are interested.
side note. I'm sorry guys, I have been trying to post my photos for like 15 min. Here's some on my photographer's web site: http://www.stacyreeves.com/2010/02/26/abby-zachs-piazza-peacock-wedding/
ps again-- our wedding was on style me pretty! :-)
I have def seen some ideas on Stylemepretty.com. Specifically: http://www.stylemepretty.com/gallery
Thus far its the best I have found of forever long photo galleries.
Here is a mock-up of my centerpieces on my breakfast table. We'll have dark blue table linens and I'll have a different gold paper on the bottom of the cylinders.
Cut out a large round of felt in a dark teal cut off the tops of the feathers and glue them on in a continuous spiral until the circle is covered and use it as a round peacock feather place setting under your centerpiece of flowers.
@heatherrobyn:that sounds like what i did for my trial bouquet a poof of that glitered dried babys breath (it may be something else like gypsum) in a creamy ivory color with a single peacock feather in the center wrapped cris crossed style with a purple ribbon. its small....but i didnt want anything large.....never thought to do the same with centerpieces.
this is what I am doing for my guestbook table if you meant all feathers :):
Im using high and low centerpieces. For the high, Im using white ostrich feathers coming out of eiffel tower vases. Thinking of using a cyclinder filled with water, flower and floating candle. Im going to use the peacocks on table settings (similiar to above pic), bouquets and boutinerres only as I dont want to use too many and it look overdone.

I am doing a peacock-themed wedding. When I first started planning, I thought it would be really cute to do peacock feathers in an eifel-tower vase with a few silver curly-things... I did a mock up last night and it looked horrible!
Does anyone have an ideas of alternate centerpiece ideas? I feel like I've Googled every possible website, but I just need a fresh idea...
Thanks!
