Hey all, I am new to the whole TTC thing :-). Basically we have been not trying not preventing since February, but really want to start TTC now. I was planning to start using OPK’s on my next cycle, to help figure out when I ovulate, cause I am not quite sure.
I thought I was ovulating now (due to changes on CM), so I bought OPK’s and tested yesterday just to do a random test and see. It turns out yesterday I got a definite positive OPK. Today I tested again but I am not sure if this is a positive or negative. Since I didnt test correctly (starting earlier on the cycle), I could definitely be having a negative today.
What do you all think?? I am unsure.
Pictures are the same test, one against counter top, one against toilet paper. Sorry they are not pointing on the same direction. But just follow the little arrow for orientation.

I would say this doesn’t look positive. It’s dark, but not as dark as the control line. You might be on the tail end of your LH surge if you got a positive yesterday.

Not quite positive. If you had a positive yesterday then you may have ovulated already… OR, you geared up to O but didn’t yet.

Nope, not a positive OPK. I agree with PP that if you had a definite positive yesterday, you are likely catching the end of your LH surge

That’s a negative. The line has to be just as dark or darker than then control line to be considered positive.

Thank you everyone for your help! I will be testing as supposed next cycle! We did BD yesterday before I took the test, so if the egg was lurking around we might catch it haha. Otherwise we will try again next month!
Thanks again, it is awesome to be able to consult with others regarding these things!

@peacockchris: It sounds like your timing might be spot on! Good luck! If you got the positive yesterday, you might O today or tomorrow.

It looks to me like you might be 2-3 days before ovulation. So if that’s the case, still a good chance!
