@caprisun0325: I know a couple churches in Long Beach just not sure if they will be what you are looking for. St. Cornelius was very easy to work with. We actually scheduled our wedding there first but like you things fell apart with our reception venue and I had to change all my plans. They were actually awesome and refunded me the money I put down to reserve the date which some wouldn't do. They have mostly Irish Priests which was why we originally chose them. There is also Our Lady of Refuge which might have more of the look you are going for. I am not sure what their policies are but as for the donations for the service I think most of them told me about $100-$200 to rent the church and I gave our Priest $100 because he actually came from a different church to perform our ceremony because we really wanted an Irish Priest. Hope this helps a little bit.

Hello Bees, I need major help! I have been through wedding planning nightmare and back. Long story short, the venue I originally booked, may I add well over a year before my wedding date, cancelled my contract, so I am at square one. I'm now thinking of getting married in the Long Beach Area but need a Catholic Church that I can get married at. I really like the more historical looking churches such as San Gabriel Mission or St. Andrew in Pasadena. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you happen to know what their donation fee is, that would be great. Thank you.
