I’d keep them separated for a while until they calm down. Have you tried feliway? You can get it as a plug in or a spray and it has pheromones that calm cats down, they are good for reducing stress in cats and generally calming them down a little

My cats get like this at times too.  We usually have to reintroduce them slowly to keep from having more fights.

I have had cats my entire life and trust me they get like this. Just like humans catshave disagreements and fight to they just literally fight. If this isnt an everyday thing i wouldn’t worry about it they will figure it out. If it is a constant thinf then i would be concerned because it might bebehavioral issue.

xstitchbride425:  This is a potentially strange question, but have they been around catnip lately? Some cats will become aggressive after sniffing or eating it. 

I’d keep them separated for a few hours, and then reintroduce them slowly (like crack the door open and let them see and smell each other) first, and if that goes well then take it further.
