I am new to here. Although I watched posts here from time to time, this is my first time putting post. Please help on choosing my veil. I bought my dress and veil(#1) together because they are a matching set and my fiance likes it. As you can see in photo #1, they both have the horsehair trim on the bottom. But now I regret on my veil. I found the edge is too wide. It looks like cut me into harlf and makes me shorter. Thanks to David’s bridal that they agree on exchanging a veil for me.
However I am very torn right now. I always dreamt of a chapel length veil and I loved #2 at first sight. It has all of the factors I dreamt of: cathedral length, lace applique, romantic……Then I should go for it without hestation, right? But my fiance, who has seen me tried more than 50 dresses and helped me pick the one, telling me that the chapel length veil covered the stunning sequin lace appliques on the bottom and the long bow sash on the back. Because this veil is not a very sheer one. It doesn’t show the true beauty and details on the train of the dress. And my maid of honor actually agrees with him after looking at the pictures. Plus, I will have an seaside lawn wedding. Chapel length veil doesn’t seem to be very normal for that?
So now my question is: should I keep #1? or exchange for #2? Or should I go for a plain, sheer elbow/finger tip length veil (as what my maid of honor suggests)? Or a plain, sheer chapel length veil.
