It doesn't have the designers you mentioned above but Country Weddings in Hingham is a really nice bridal salon. And it's on the way back towards the cape from Boston. www.southshorebridal.com Could be a last stop if you don't find your dress during your other shopping?
La Reine salon in Waltham (about 20 minutes outside of Boston, just go out Rte. 30) definitely has Casablanca and Mikaella, and might have Blue by Enzoani. I got my dress there and was pretty happy with it. They have some pretty negative reviews on Yelp I think but other reviews I've read have been good, and my experience was pretty good. They are a weeeeee bit disorganized, especially the owner, whose heart seems to totally be in the right place (not so disorganized that they'll forget your appointment or anything, it's just that sometimes you walk in and nobody is there at the front desk and you might have to re-give all of your information again when you get there), so that may be why they had some bad reviews, but if you go in with a sense of humor and zen it's totally worth it. They have a VERY wide selection, and the dressing rooms are really great--you get a whole big room to yourself and you get to put the dresses on behind this big Victorian curtain, it is super nice. They also have a very wide range of prices (a lot of high quality dresses for lower prices, too) and give good deals--if you put a deposit down on the first day, you get 10% off your dress, even if you decide to get a different dress later.
If you go, to ensure that you have a good visit, DEFINITELY ask for Judy when you make your appointment. She was my consultant and she was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME--she totally made the entire experience.
I went to New York Lace Store Ltd in Taunton, MA. It's about an hour south of Boston. I thought they had a pretty big selection (not like Boston, but still big). It might be worth a try!
I got my dress at Priscilla's, and my sister got hers at L'Elite, and both of us had great experiences. Two good friends of mine got their gowns at La Reine, and they were very happy with their experiences there as well! Oh, and another friend had her gown custom made by Ana Hernandez (she's located above the Starbucks on Newbury Street), and LOVED it. Hope this helps!
I seem to remember having some trouble finding salons that were open on Sundays, so definitely try to book your appointments as soon as you can. And very smart to avoid shopping in the city on marathon Monday - that day is NUTS!
I got my dress at Camilla's in Arlington and they have a large selection of Mikaella dresses. It's very cute in there and the staff was extremely helpful. Good luck!
Another vote for La Reine in Waltham! I was really impressed with their selection and that they paid attention to the budget I had in mind (didn't try to upsell me). And I loved loved loved my dress!
I got my alterations done at Sabella Couture in downtown Boston, and they also have dresses for sale and do custom dresses as well. Beautiful stuff.
So excited to hear good things about La Reine in Waltham! I'm have an appointment there at the end of March!!
Thanks for all of the suggestions! I will definitely check out La Reine. Does anyone have experience with Bella Sera in Danvers, Natasha's Bridal in Meuthen or Gianna's in Stoneham? They seem to have the lines I'm looking at and are open on Sunday, which is nice!
I second Country Weddings in Hingham, but I'm pretty sure they are closed on Sunday and Monday.
For Blue by Enzoani, go to Sabella Couture, it is on Tremont Street in Boston so you could probably throw that in with the Sunday trip if they are open. They were super nice, I almost bought my dress there!
I also second Camilla's in Arlington. I have had nothing but great service the entire time I have been working with them!
If you have some time, I'd check out VOWS in Newton. It's all samples, but you can get some AMAZING deals. I got my Vera Wang Luxe gown there for about 80% off.
If you go to http://www.bridepower.com you can look through what they have before you go.
Good luck, and have fun!
I'm not sure in regards to designers, but here is a list of shops I checked out. I ended up buying a Rivini gown from Christina's in Andover.
Bella Sera Bridal- Danvers, MA
Christina’s- Andover, MA
Allegria Bridal- Belmont, MA
La Reine Bridal- Waltham, MA
Bella Bridal- Amesbury, MA
French Bridals- Beverly, MA
Priscilla’s- Boston, MA
Vows is on my list as well...my sister got her AMAZING wedding gown there and had a great experience.
Allegria in Belmont is great, and I'm pretty sure they carry Blue by Enzoani.
Vows in Newton is a really awesome option if you're on a budget - I didn't end up getting my dress there because I moved from Boston before I was ready to make up my mind, but I have some friends from Boston that got ridiculously amazing designer gowns for a STEAL. Amazing, amazing store (weekends get REALLY busy there, but maybe Marathon weekend most people will be downtown watching the race!)
If you want to maximize your time on Monday, I suggest visiting bridal shops in this order La Reine (Waltham), Vows (Watertown), Allegria (Belmont), Camilla's (Arlington), and Bride 'N' Belle (Medford). These bridal shops are all in the same area and you don't have to spend too much time driving across town.
I agree that Allegria is a good place to try. I very nearly bought my dress from them. The woman helping me (can't remember her name for the life of me, though!) was really friendly, definitely knew her stuff and picked out great dresses. They also give a discount on bridesmaid dresses if you get your dress from them.
Bella Sera was very nice, I just didn't happen to find a dress there. I have a couple of friends that got their gowns there and were very pleased with their experience.
I definitely recommend Vows. I would also recommend Cristina's in Andover and Country weddings in Hingham.
just to let you know- Vows is closed on Sundays and Mondays which I found to be common for many bridal salons.
I really enjoyed my Vows experience! Here's my post on this: http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/08/02/bridepower/
La Reine brides - how was your experience after you purchased your gown? I've read so many mixed reviews about this salon that my mind is spinning. Please share!

Hi Boston bees...I'd love it if you could help a girl out. I'm coming into town with my mom to go wedding dress shopping in April. Trouble is, she booked the trip before talking to me about it (whole nother story there) and it's the Sunday before and the Monday of the Boston marathon. I think we'll do the Boston stores (Priscilla's, L'Elite) on Sunday. Most of the dresses I'm interested in are sold at shops outside the city, which is good because trying to shop for dresses on marathon day sounds impossible. My question is, do you have recommendations for shops outside Boston? I'm mostly interested in Casablanca, Mikaella and Blue by Enzoani. Any help would be much appreciated. Oh, and should I go anywhere else in the city itself? Thanks!
