I would call them – it’s too easy for people to read an online message, think that they’ll get back to you later…and then forget or just not do it.

I’ve had a lot of friends in similar situations with the Maid/Matron of Honor right before your wedding thing, it’s a month before and not a week or something, so it really should be fine. Just one of those things that tends to happen when you’re at the age where lots of friends are getting married, and not everyone wants a long engagement. What you have planned sounds great and very reasonable, I’d probably wait a couple of days till it’s actually the 13th and call them. You’ve already sent one online reminder that went unanswered so I wouldn’t do it that way again, I know it’s faster/easier to send a mass message, but not if they don’t answer you!

I would give them to the 13th since that was the RSVP date you gave. contacting them again before then is just pushy in my opinion. They maybe trying to work out if they can make it time and finance wise so you bugging them is not going to help matters.

Wait until the 13th – you can’t really demand responses before the RSVP date has passed.  But on January 14, send out another message.  Give a second deadline, say you won’t ask again, and if you don’t receive the money, you will consider that notice that they don’t plan on attending.  Good luck!

If you ring them they have to give you an answer there and then. put the pressur on and ask for the money by the end of the week!
