Ive been to Couples Negril twice, and am going back in April again.   Highly recommend it but here are some differences between them both.

    1)  CSA is located on Long Bay which is essentially 7 mile beach…. CN is located on Bloody Bay which is still considered 7 mile beach except its on the shorter stretch…. There is a piece of land that juts out which seperates them.

    2)  CSA is more spread out then CN.   Some people like this but I myself prefer the more intimate resorts.

    3)  CSA has a more updated look to it whereas CN is a bit more dated BUT very clean regardless.   CN is meant to look on the rustic side.

    4)  CN has a more caribbean feel

    5)  CN is located on Bloody Bay which allows the water to be very calm and very clear.

    6)  Because of CNs location on the bay there is less vendors and less traffic along the beach.   The beach is still long enough if you want to walk up and down it.

    7)  CN is a bit closer drive from the airport.  Like 15 mins closer or something

other then that, they are both at par for service, food, activities, drinks etc.   if you sign up for romance rewards on their website it gets you into the trading places program where you can spend a day at the other resort.

I can’t recommend couples negril enough!

Oh and as far as rooms, we always stay in the deluxe ocean view and are fine with it.  Still get good views and still close to the ocean.  i prefer to pay less and stick with an ocean view so we can stay an extra day then to pay $350 upgrade.  We aren’t in our room so much.   You can always ask for an upgrade when you check in.

Im going to CSS for our honeymoon! I loved that its a smaller, more romantic setting. Also, the stairs will keep me in shape! I cant wait! Plus, if you go to Ocho Rios you get to do Dunn River Falls, which was a hugr thing for us. Its also way cheaper than SA or Negril, but if youre more into partying and socializing, they do seem like thr place to be. Have you tried asking the question on the couples forums?

@Excited To Bee:  CN is not a party resort…. There are certain activities and places to go if you want to socialize but it is still a quiet romantic resort.

Can’t say anything on either resort – but I’ve been to Jamaica several times, specifically Negril.

I cannot say enough good things about Negril. What a beautiful and incredible place. Highly, highly recommend going to Negril!

@RockStar33:  I just meant that it seems more active than CSS. Ive never been to either though, so my opinions are purely based ln what ive read on the couples forums. Id be happy to go to any of them!

Jamaica has a ton of history and culture! You will experience a lot of the culture on the resort, or a few activities I recommend

    1) bob marleys grave excursion OR Peter Tosh. Peter Tosh is closer to Negril.

    2) sign up for the One Love Bus Crawl. The small bus takes you through Negril and stops at numerous different local bars. You get enough time to have a few drinks, and eats. The ride is free you just have to tip the driver. Plus you have to pay for your food and drinks. It’s good because you get to contribute to the local businesses.

    3) YS falls or Mayfield falls

Research on the couples website or trip advisor! There’s tons to do to suit everyone.
