I’m throwing a kitchen shower tomorrow and need help with a sign.
We’re doing a monogrammed apron instead of a guest book. I’d like for the guests to sign the POCKET instead of signing all over it.
Any cute wording that you can think of for a sign to guide the guests?
I’m not sure we’ll have someone standing there to guide the guests the whole time.
Here’s a pic of the apron.

@Mars62312: Write along with glee, but only on the pocket please?

“We have an apron for the bride,
We want for her to rock it,
Please be sure to sign your name,
But only on the pocket!” 🙂
ETA: An earlier verse above it could be:
“A kitchen shower for our guest,
with items we will stock it!”

@Brielle: ‘s poem is perfect! But I would have the rest of the apron taped off with some wrapping paper or something. There is always someone who can’t or won’t follow instructions.

@julies1949: Yeah, I was thinking about folding it up a bit so it’s just the apron and the stitching.
ETA: And we’re going to have all the bridesmaid’s sign it first to get the momentum going, but I’m sure someone will go rogue on me!

@julies1949: is right. People do need some help reading instructions.
@Mars62312: You could make the sign large and using a large font and then tape it in the middle off the apron where it’s folded, leaving only the name and the pocket. Also put large arrows pointing down to the pocket along the sides of the poem so only the most clueless person could not figure out what you mean. 🙂

@Brielle: Smart! Thank goodness I came to you all! I was planning on using an old 3×5 frame left from our wedding, but that definitely wouldn’t stand out.
