Hi! I am getting crazy and I need your best advice…! I was ordering the SaBelle dress and now that I tried on the Enzoani Olivia don´t know what to do.
The SaBelle is an stunning dress, makes a great silhouette to me (I´m size 16) and my mom, my fiancé, my sister and my maid of honor love it too (me too or it would not be in my list). It looks amazing on me, but when I tried it on, I could only think how nice silhouette it made and not thought “I´m the bride”!!!
When I tried the Enzoani Olivia I felt so happy!!! That dress is totally me: delicate, elegant, flirty, femenine, I love tulle and lace!
I would really apreciate if you could help me out here… I am 36, size 16 (hopefully 12 by my wedding in October and I have long dark hair. I hope this help you to help me.

I love the Olivia. Its looks wow!!
Also the first dress has too much going in for my personal taste

I would say the Olivia, it looks romantic and almost floaty, and versatile enough for either casual or formal wedding. The SaBelle looks a bit heavy and fussy for me personally. but really, go with whatever makes you comfortable and feel like yourself

@BusyBeaBee: Honey, I would never urge you to get satin ( or is that taffeta?) when you can have tulle and lace!
Could it even be possible that you are considering the color of the Enzoani dress in the photo (be still my heart!)

It’s kind of hard to tell without seeing them on you, but here goes…
PROS: Maggie dresses usually have a lot of boning and are loved by curvier gals. this one, with the cinched in waist and full skirt, will be good at emphasising your curves and making your waist look smaller.
CONS: It is a lot of dress and has a lot going on. I am worried about the horizontal lines and heavy fabric possibly adding bulk to the lower abdoben and hip area. This would be especially concerning if you are pear-shaped. The fabric and beading are also quite shiny, which again is not good for larger girls. May also be a bit dated.
PROS: Softer neckline and straps will help draw the eye upward and have a slimming effect. Vertical lines in the skirt also have a slimming effect. Appears to be a more contemporary style.
CONS: May not have as much boning. Lighter fabric may be less forgiving and belly and hips may stand out more. (Hard to say without seeing on you.)
In the end, I chose the Olivia. I am a similar age to you and also plus size. In my opinion, the Sabelle is kind of a young style – I’m not saying you can’t wear it, but I think you would need to have major diva attitude to pull it off. Given how you feel in the less dramatic dress, I don’t think this is you.

I voted for Olivia… stunning dress! Not a fan of SaBelle, especially the pickups.
ETA: I also picked Olivia because it seems like it gave you more of “that feeling” than SaBelle.

Olivia! Hands down. Especially if you have that feeling!

Olivia, I don’t like the pickups in the Sabelle combined with everything else, and Olivia is beautiful, and it sounds like it makes you feel the prettiest!

Not a fan of SaBelle. I think it looks very dated, like a dress you would see 10 years ago.

@FauxPas2012: Hi FauxPas! I actually adoooore too that color on the Olivia, but my fiancé is totally anti “any color but white”… even Ivory is not a color for a wedding dress, so I am going for ivory at least… actually the SaBelle in the picture is light gold with embellishment in pewter, but that is absolutely out of the question… I love that color you suggest too! But that is a concession that I can give him… : )

@FauxPas2012: PS: Eventhough I love taffeta, I am toootaly a tulle and lace girl!
