Im thinking i should have a nap for half an hour in the car at lunchtimes.

Actually that would be a good idea. I was going to suggest a nap… because it actually revitalizes you for the rest of the day!

Do you have a small fan you can put on your desk? My office is crazy hot and I found that it maeks me even mroe sleepy than I already am! I also take a walk (just a short 5 mintues one) at about 2:30PM to get my blood pumping again.

GL, I totally understand the feeling!

A soda in the afternoon. Some type of sugar pick me up was the only thing that helped me get through the afternoon. It will get easier, I promise.

@Chocolatelime- It’s all about survival. I never drank soda before I got pregnanct but if one can helped me get through the day then I did it. No harm to me or the baby.

@ChocolateLime:  LOL! I sometimes feel the same way about people asking me to do stuff… and I’m the assistant to 3 people so my WHOLE JOB is being told asked to do stuff!  Luckily, mostt of them know the situation so they’re going a little easy on me.  I hope it gets better soon…. how far along are you?

@Ellegee:  Haha – I’m glad I’m not the only person that appreciates a server room nap. Something about the low hum of equipment and a cold room that just puts me to sleep.

@ChocolateLime:  I’ve heard that apples provide as much energy as a cup of coffee due to natural sugars.

Are you getting enough sleep at night?  Is it restful sleep or are you getting up in the middle of the night?

A cup of coffee mid-afternoon will help, but yo umight want to see whats causing you to feel so tired. Sometimes during that time of the month, same thing happens to me

Edit: Just saw this was posted in pregnancy!
