    Hi Bees,

I am down to the wire trying to get our programs  finished up today and am having a bit of trouble.  I want to use a ribbon to hold them together, but my knots keep coming out too loose and doesn't really hold the paper together.

    Any pointers?

This is the look I am trying to achieve:

    I actually purchased a long-reach stapler:

There are several on the market and the cost ranges from $10 - $30. It's a little bit of an investment, but I could staple the program pages together to hold them securely in place. Then the ribbon covers up the staples once you have them tied.

Another option is to open the programs and punch small holes where the papers fold. Then you can thread the ribbon through the holes to help keep them secure. It will look something like this:

    Hope that helps!

try putting a dab of glue from the hot glue gun on the middle of the bow (both sides). It's clear so shouldnt be too obvious

if you don't want to purchased a long-reach stapler you can go to ups, staples, office max, etc and use their stapler.

Also do you mind me asking what type of information you put in your program?

Ok so my mom figured it out.  It involved borrowing my finger every few minutes and some weird knot.

@TandK  We're having a Catholic ceremony, so it is pretty much a play by play of what's going on (misalette).
