I was looking around online for weddings that took place at my venue for some ideas… I absolutely love this idea for a room divider- ivy or moss with staggered votives! I know that she used an event planner (which is not in my budget), so that’s probably who provided it.
Anyways, my question is if you’ve seen anything like this before or have any ideas how to make an inexpensive DIY version. My FH and I aren’t the most crafty people in the world, but I think we could manage simply attaching moss and votives to a flat panel room divider – but where to find the divider? Ha! Help please!

@TheHoustonista: If you want the divider to have real plants:
It will be easier to put this together at the venue as transportation is difficult once it is assembled.
go to a nursery, Home Depot or Lowe’s
buy a couple of rectangular planters
buy some vines in pots
Buy or findsome bricks or rocks to weight the planter- they needn’t be visible
buy a section of lattice (or more than one to get the width you want)
nail the lattice to the back of the planter, stand it upright and fill the planter with the pots of vines and the rocks (to balance the weight of the lattice, so it doesn’t tip over backwards)
you can buy planters with the lattice attached but sometimes they are not very tall
add a wire hanger to votive holders- leave the wire long so you can pole each end through the vine covered lattice
add tealight or LED tealight to votive holder
You can get a similar look using rolls of faux moss fabric or moss aisle runners and lengths of silk vines.
You could also just use a pipe and drape system, hang the rolls of moss fabric from the top bar and thread the wired votive holders by poking the wires through the moss.

You’ll definitely want to use battery operated votives for that. It’d take forever for someone to light all those candles, and they would burn out fairly quickly. If you use frosted glass/plastic holders, it should work out nicely. Seems like a really expensive/difficult to transport project, though – how would you get it home ?!
