@Maiden:  Camp Puh Tok in MD is a great venue… cheap, barn/rustic look, can decorate yourself, lodging, no liquor license needed and any caterer ok…. also beautiful in the fall.   http://camppuhtok.com

@Maiden:  I have no idea where you live, so I don’t know what an afternoon’s driving distance means lol. Because Florida is east coast too. lol But I’m guessing that’s too far. lol

  • Wedding: September 2013 - Pavilion at Rocky Neck State Park

I had my wedding at the Pavilion at Rocky Neck State Park. There is a campground but there are also a lot of good hotels in Niantic and Groton (between 10-20 minutes from the park) My reception only had 60 people but there is room up to 200 I believe. There is no ceremony fee and there are a lot of places you can have it. It also has fantastic views of the shoreline. The only con is you have to chose from their list of approved caterers (which wasn’t that big of an issue because we went with Cloud Nine and they are amazing there). Total price: $2650 (with a $500 refunable security deposit).

Here are a few pics:

@Maiden: The Race Brook Lodge in the Berkshires.

FI and I stayed there in April, and it’s an easy drive from New Haven. I think it meets most of your requirements (not sure what their alcohol/catering policies are).
