I am making all my invites, and there is a little pocket envelope that I need to glue up for inside the main envelope.
Its a special paper called Touche, but it feels like velvet, or wet silky smooth kind of paper. Anyways not glue is sticking to this stuff. I even tried the Zip dry, and it just pulled right apart.
Please help! Any advice?

Have you tried something like E6000? I’ve had success gluing weird surfaces with that–you just have to be careful and distribute it evenly (using a paintbrush or toothpick). Or try roughing up one of the surfaces that will be hidden with a little fine-grit sandpaper to give them some texture for the glue to adhere to?

Have you tried glue tape? It is recommended for paper.

I would go to Michaels Arts and Crafts and get the ATG Gun, it comes with 2 rolls of the tape. You can find a 40% off coupon here
I have used it on that type of paper as well as many other types and have always had great sucess.

Glue dots!! They sell them at Michaels, Target, etc, and they stick to everything!

ATG tape…I second that one. Double stick tape is much easier to deal with and the ATG kind is extremely sticky!

I would reccomend glue dots. they come in different sizes, thicknesses and shapes (dots/strips). They work on pretty much anything.

I was going to recommend E6000. I don’t know how it would work for paper but that shit is serious! I’ve never found it to not stick to something.

If the paper is a linen type (sounds like it is) then fabric glue should work just fine.
