What is the layout of the planetarium (SUPER cool, btw!)? Is there a center aisle that you will walk down? If so, are there also aisles along the edges (an alternate path gor guests to get to their seats? If so, then I would get oodles of twinkle lights and wrap then in tulle, then drape them between the seats all along the aisle where you will walk. It would give a soft glow to the entire aisle. Another option (if you are allowed to use candles and the aisle is wide enough) would be to line the aisle with tall vases and have lit pillar candles inside of the vases.

I would ignore the seats entirely. The room will be dimly lit, so the seats really will not matter.

I think lining the aisle or walkway is definitly the way to go.  Tulle, twinkle lights, and flowers will transform a space into a “wedding” site very quickly.

I love your location….. not geeky at all!  I think  @nikkialys idea about the tulle will make it look romantic with the lights blinking thru.  Are the aisleways lit up… like on an airplane night flight,  because those might be cool if they were lit up.

ok i love your location even more omg.  I think the flicker candles would be so pretty in that space.  I never ever thought of a planetarium.
