I need your help with my linen dilemma! I did a mini mockup in my house (pic attached). Keep in mind we are missing the centerpieces (other pics – all of the flowers will be pink). I have navy tablecloths and silver chargers, but I’m not sold on the pink napkins, what color do you think they should be? I was thinking maybe a pewter? Or a different pink? I’m at a loss.
First Centerpiece – With pink flowers instead of white

I think you are right about the pink napkins. I think they will detract from those beautiful centerpieces. Could you get napkins that match the tablecloth so they kind of blend in like in the picture you posted of the second centerpiece? I think that it would look really elegant that way. Otherwise, I think pewter would look really nice as well to pick up on the color of your table numbers.

do you have a base neutral color? If yes I would go with that or a color that matches your chairs. Alternatively I would have the napkins match the tablecloths.
We also used navy table clothes and had some pink centerpieces and gold chargers. We used ivory napkins and ivory chair cushions, (for gold chiavari chairs). The napkins coordinated withough detracting from the centerpieces or being overly matchy matchy.

@Meowkers – our chairs are a dark brown color (suggested by the florist) to blend in with the venue, so our neutral would probably be the silver. I considered having navy napkins as well but wasn’t sure if that was too matchy matchy.

I would go with a lighter pink for the napkins or a pewter color.

If the budget has the room, another idea would be to do two colors of napkins layered–either two shades of the pink or the navy and the pewter.
