I know how you feel. We are having an airplane theme wedding. I decided to not incorporate a toy plane in the centerpieces as that will take away from the elegance of the wedding. I've decided to do a colored linens and then lots of glass with floating candles and flowers. We are getting married inside an airplane hangar and the walls, floors and ceiling are gray so I feel like we need to add color with the tables. Go on to stylemepretty and search for black and white weddings. You'll get some real pretty table ideas.
Also I'm keeping the airplane related items to the party favors, invitations and cakes.
Phazelaar, you could save coffee cans, and get checked paper, or material, the kind that looks like the nascar flag, and glue it around the bottom of the can. The top band around the can could be red for the pop of color, or you could get black with white dashed lines like the race track. Fill the can with red and white flowers, roses, babies breath etc. go with what's in season for your wedding and save money. Hope this idea helps!

I am having a black, white & red wedding & im looking for some centerpiece ideas that i could possibly use. I dont want to spend alot of money on them but dont want them looking cheap. To add to the colors of our wedding we are having a NASCAR/Stock Car themed wedding. I would like to interpret this into the centerpeices if possible but doesn't have to.
Any ideas or pictures would help alot.
