- Wedding: September 2011
Ok for a little background, my wedding does not really have a “theme” per se. It is just going to be classic and simple with modern touches. We are going to have 20 round tables with white linens, black 12″ wide runners going down the middle, and then mocha 6″ runners in the middle of those (my colors are black, white, and mocha with bright fall-colored flowers for color).
The tables will be set with mocha napkins folded at each place setting along with the silverware and glasses and the plates will be at the buffet (there will be black square 10″ plates for dinner and black sqaure 7.5″ plates for cocktail hour and cake), and then one menu card in a black stand on each table next to the centerpiece.
Here is how the tables will be set up, there will be 13 flower centerpieces and 7 candle centerpieces to mix it up a bit.
Here are my mock-ups of my centerpieces. The first picture is a 4×4 cube that is going to have the bright fall colored flowers in it (roses, tulips, callas, and some green hydrangea). It has the mocha runner because I am making those, but not the black runner or the linens since those are being rented.
Then for the second centerpiece I am using only candles, and I am thinking about putting flower petals on the bottom of the vases for some color (all candles are LED due to my venue’s policy). I have two ideas for these:
So what do you ladies think about my centerpieces in general and which of the candle ones do you like best? I am open to all opinions and ideas!
