Season13:  Sapphire is soooo pretty! what about a light pink one? I’m a fan on pink stones myself. How do you feel about man made stones, or do you want to stick with natural?

Season13:  Have you seen a white sapphire up close? I thought they were actually pretty amazing! The only thing I wasn’t super crazy about but I could probably live with is what another Bee told me was windowing. Where every once in a while you can see right through the gem to the other side of it.

Try looking up morganite rings in the bee. So pretty and barely pink!

If you are wanting to go for a more traditonal look with your ering (a white stone) keep it just as it is and pair it with a pink stone band. Many Bee’s do that. Some like a pop of color, or it’s their favorite color, or its their FH’s birthstone.

Barely pink moissanite?

If you want pink I suggest you get pink. it’ll be set with white diamonds all around so win-win. the setting will be so pretty regardless of what stone you pick

Season13:  If you’re concerned about the ethics of the gem industry (lets be honest, it’s ALL precious gems, not just diamonds) I’d consider working with Brilliant Earth.

This was really important to me and FI, so he did a LOT of research. We were going to do a manufactured stone, but ultimately he did choose to go with a diamond from Brilliant Earth. They also do recycled precious metals, which, again he liked due to the ethical issues of mining.

You can pick out a gemstone here: or loose diamond:

Just an alternative option!

Maybe your center stone can be a white sapphire and the stones around the halo can have light pink sapphires? That way you both get features you want! I have yellow stones on my halo and a white center and I love the contrast.

Beautiful setting, by the way! I adore pear shapes!!

The natural sapphire company sells loose stones as well as settings! You can look there!

Season13:  Certainly! The metal on mine is also yellow, but I think pink sapphires would look pretty on either rose or white gold!
