Can you post a picture of the board so we can see what you are talking about?
Sorry, it denied my original upload because it was too big, so I shrunk it. Thank you!
First of all, it doesn't look anything like a funeral! I think what you're noticing is that although you have all three colors on the board, you don't have the three colors together in any of the elements. Adding a touch of aqua to some of the other items would make a more pulled together look - for instance, maybe having a ballerina tie on the bouquet, or adding a thinner black and aqua ribbon to the cake...
Otherwise, I love the look. Very elegant!
I think it looks good! One thing that I didn't like about my first inspiration board was that I felt the need to put what I felt was every important aspect (so, like, both bridesmaid's dresses I was looking at) and only went with things that I for sure was going to use. To me, a good inspiration board has a lot of what you are going to use coupled with something that inspires you, but isn't necessarily realistic - so if a beautiful, decadent cake speaks to you about your wedding, or a gorgeous scenery picture symbolizes rustic elegance to you, go ahead and put them on there. You might not use them per se, but it'll get you in the right mindset.
I love it as is. But you could always add a bit of aqua to the paper goods (I'm guessing they're escort cards?) and to the bouquet ribbon. However, I really love the black ribbon on the bouquet, personally!

Hi Ladies,
I just put together my inspiration board and I can't help but feel that it looks bland and that something is missing. Do you guys think there's too much black going on? Does it look more like a funeral than a wedding?? Black is my favourite color and aqua is my second favorite. If this looks dreary and funeral-like, do you think I should add more blue in the details? But where? Any other suggestions for a black and white plus blue wedding? Please help.
Thanks!
