I want to have a midsummer’s night/ mythology themed wedding. i’ve always being in love with greek/roman and norse mythology, so i wanted to incoroporate that somehow because in the beginning it was just a midsummer’s night theme, but i’m not really a fairy person, i want to be a goddess and it doesn’t really play into that theme.
What should i do?

Get a flowy dress for yourself and your BMs? Have the ceremony and reception in a garden? Serve Greek food?

I love the idea! I am a huge fan of Greek mythology, but sadly I am sitting her stumped trying to come up with ideas. The only idea I’ve come up so far is for the tables at the reception you can make every table named after a god/goddess or a certain myth. Umm…”Go the Distance” keeps popping into my head. I know it’s Disney, but Hercules is one of my favorites and the song is beautiful! If you can find an instrumental you might be able to use it somewhere. I think grecian style wedding gown is kind of obvious! And…I’m not sure, but I’ll keep thinking 🙂

Fashion and Food are already a check. Just need Decor ideas, i don’t want it to be too kitchy.

Naming each table after either a Midsummer Night’s Dream character or a Greek God/Goddess would be cool: not too over the top, but fun and tie in your theme.
I would say lots of draping, maybe some columns:
I would tie in some olive branches/laurels too:
More olive branch ideas here:
Just simple things like this I think would tie together well with your Midsummer’s theme–doesn’t have to be much, just a couple beautiful little Grecian touches.
