well, i went to two coed bridal showers that didn't feel showerish at all. one was a bbq at a local park and the other had the feel of a cocktail party, including alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. both of them were super fun. there were gifts at boths and games at the second but they only did one with the entire group [a fun trivia game about the couple] and a second game in a seperate area for thos who wanted to play.
so in short, just have a regular party! you don't have to have any baby decorations or games. good luck and congrats!
Hmmmm, depending on how far along you are in May/June, you might not want to plan anything quite that physically active. I know that right now, at 25 weeks, going on a long hike or tubing would not be fun. Heck, I have to stop and rest just while out on walks with the dogs! :)
The game night and dinner sound like a fun ideas. You could also plan a "spa"/pampering night and hire someone to come in and give you pedicures or facials. Could you do a lake or river cruise on a tour boat? That might be fun... What about a bowling night?
Oh! I have the perfect reference for you! Check out these two blog posts (before and after) about another urban couple who had a "non baby shower" baby shower.

OK - I'm not a 'shower' person. I got away with not having a wedding shower and just spent a weekend at the lake with my best girlfriends cooking, exploring a local town, and having girl time.
As for baby showers it won't be as easy to get out of. I've convinced my mom to do a 'sip n see' in my hometown after the baby comes for family and her friends (most of whom I know really well). I don't think that'll be too bad - plus everyone will be into meeting the baby!
Now my girlfriends are starting to bug me to set a date and get something planned. They know I don't want a shower but I am up for a girlfriend activity or girly tiime. I'm just not sure what!! We don't live in a city so are pretty limited by options of things to go 'do'.
I need your help. What do you think would be some fun activities I can plan with a group of girlfriends that is NOT a shower w/ games and gifts. It'll probably be around 20 people... with a mix of different groups that don't all know each other.
I'm evening thinking hiking, tubing on the river, cooking a gourmet dinner, some sort of game/craft night.
It'll be May/June so should be warm enough for outdoor stuff!
Thanks in advance!!
PS - We're probably not doing anything 'couplesy' but if you had an idea that included the guys I'd be open to it.
