Hi all! I need some help coming up with colors and themes for my wedding. Here is my situation. I got engaged last month December 18, 2011 and I started gathering some ideas for our wedding. I am a senior in college and will be graduating in May with a degree in Environmental Biology and my fiance will also be graduating in May and will be joining the US Coast Guard so we decided on doing a water themed wedding with Coral, Turquoise, Ivory, and Dark Brown being our colors and planning the wedding to be summer of 2013. Im a planner especially while trying to finish school, so I wanted most of the stuff at least decided on. Well now here is the issue, we talked and realized that the military gets to decide when you are free to get married and since we dont know when that will be (as in what season) I am want to start getting some ideas for a winter wedding that way if the only time we can get married is during the winter season I have some stuff already in mind. I dont want the typical christmas colors or snow flake theme and I want to try and stay away from blue but his Coast Guard dress is a light navy blue color so I would need something that wont clash with it. We like to be different and stand out some any ideas would be great I never wanted a winter wedding so I never thought about it.
