- Wedding: November 2013
I’m very indecisive and am easily distracted and overwhelmed. I’ve been engaged since May last year and I have yet to settle on a theme. I know that a theme isn’t required for a wedding, but I personally want one.
I like how some weddings incorporate skeleton keys as a repeated motif. Or literary, music, travel, and other themes, but none of these appeal to me too strongly.
What I’m looking for is a cliche or a saying that I can design everything around. Like I’ve seen a theme of “Love is in the air” with balloons as part of the decor and a balloon backdrop for a homemade photo booth. Or “bound together” as a book/literary theme.
My colors are teal and pink with accents of gold and cream. My dress will be a romantic a-line or ball gown, and I’m leaning towards a romantic whimsical feel for everything.
Please help me brainstorm, thank you!
