We had a beach-themed wedding, and used sandcastles as our centerpieces, with sand surrounding them and miniature shells to get the beach effect. Our place cards were sand dollars and we also had starfish scattered about.
I'm at work now and don't have access to the pictures, sorry. :(
That sounds pretty!! Can you post a picture maybe later tonight or when you get a chance? We're only using sand dollars for our plaecards!

@Miss Parfait: I'm getting those sea urchin vases! They are small and kinda pricey but I love them and were my first wedding 'find'. They were what sparked a lot of my inspiration so I just have to have them
