You could find old books with covers in the colors you like
In August you should be able to get hydrangeas at a reasonable price. You would only need one stem per vase and could use only one vase per centerpiece. You could also use mason jars for the vases.
You could wrap styrofoam balls in turquoise ribbon,raffia, paper or fabric , then wrap with a peacock feather like this. You can stack them in a low plate. You don;t need the flowers at all.

Seems like you could do a version of this, only incorporating black. Even just a vase w/some glass rocks & a few sprigs of greenery/peacock feathers would look decent. Mimimal flower usage. :-)

Finally having the ceremony we didnt get to have because of my husband deploying and I need help. Our colors are turquoise and black. I love the peacock feathers look to add a little extra color! I am pregnant and due in May. Our wedding is in August and we are not only working with a military pay budget but also have a little girl on the way so we cant afford to cover everything in flowers. I love the candles too! I am only needing to decorate 12 tables but am willing to do an alternating table design too! HELP ME!!!!
