It looks nice, but to me, it does look fake.

I can tell it's not a real flower, but it looks very nice.

I think i'm going to shorten the stem and maybe cover it in a light pink or moss green ribbon.  Not totally sure about covering it but I will shorten it for sure.

Do you think it looks to busy with the leaf and baby's breath stuff?

I'm just not totally sure about them.  I'm goign to get some quotes done on real ones today but I think they look okay.

I don't think the problem is the length of the stem or whats behind the flower. I think its the flower itself, since it looks so fake.  Bouts. really are not that expensive maybe like $10 each or something from the florist.

Need a better picture! Is it yarn? That's what it looks like to me.

I feel like the flower almost looks as if it's missing some petals. I think it will look nicer when you shorten the stem, and if you wrap a white or offwhite ribbon around it, it will give it a more polished look.

As of right now, I can tell the flower isn't real, but I don't think that's a bad thing.

To me, it's missing foliage.  Craft supply stores offer wired silk leaves and are very inexpensive (I believe it comes something like, 80 to a pack for $5).  I would experimenting a little more, but I do think you're on the right track.  :)

I guess whimsical is a good look haha.  My wedding colours are berry/megenta, moss green, and baby pink.

I'm going to look into how much real boutonierres will cost.  I am having real flowers for myself, bridesmaid, and the wrist corsages.  I thought this might be a way to cut a few costs.

I think they look okay.  I was originally looking for daisies but all the silk ones I have seen look very fake.

I've had some people tell me it looks too cluttered and just to have a flower, some say to add more greenery.  I think i've come to the comclusion that everyone just has their own opinions!

My real bouts are super cheap, like $5 to $10.  While I think yours looks nice, I think you would probably be smart to just check the cost for a live flower one.

The stem is kind of long.  I agree with Rachel_Leigh, see how much a real one would be also, because of the small craft things add up too, so you may end up spending the same.

I'm just gonna go with real.  They are 6.99 each plus tax.  My supplies to make these fake ones only cost about $9.
