Looking for ideas of songs to walk down the aisle to, maybe songs that have come out in the last few years would be good! It is a beach or outdoor wedding we are having. Country is nice, so maybe something like that, or really anything is good! Just need some ideas 🙂
also if you have any first dance song ideas that would be nice too

This is a little older but still modern. What about Beautiful Day by U2? I don’t like much modern music, so otherwise I can’t be much help. Well, I do like country. We did our first dance to Into the Mystic, which is an old Van Morrison song, but the Zac Brown Band does it live in combination with Free. That might make a good first dance. The live album, Pass the Jar, has a version you can download onto iTunes.

I am going to use the Reprise from Nightmare Before Christmas – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Bmec1VVYxw
And the first dance song I think will be Elvis Costello’s version of Very Thought of You – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0a1cLkyKSg
My FI and I tend to run on the weird side…but both of those songs are perfect for us at least 🙂

We are huge country music fans, so it’s only natural that we have all country songs for our main ones. I’m walking down the aisle to “I Cross My Heart” by George Straight. The BM’s are walking down to “When You Say Nothing At All” by Allison Krauss and Keith Whitley.
Hope this helps!

Does it need to be beachy? What about “Beyond the Sea”? It’s a great song, not overdone, and there are more modern covers of it.

I walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of John Legend’s “All of Me” and it was really nice. But, this was months ago before the song became super popular and I was kind of disappointed about how overplayed it is now!
Our first dance song was “Then” by Brad Paisley 🙂

I am walking down the aisle to Coldplay’s “Fix You” as it means alot to us. Our first dance is Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up.”

Our processional is the Jeff Buckley version of hallelujah.

This one is new. At least I haven’t heard it before. I love it! I’m going to use it at my wedding:)

rabidsmiles: I am a HUGE TNBC fan, that’s the greatest idea I’ve ever heard. Idk how anyone else would feel about it, but I totally think it’s PERFECT! Ahh… now how to get my fiance on board with me coming down the aisle to that lol
