I’m stuck finding a song for me and FI to enter into the reception to. We have a song for the parents, bridesmaids, and MOH/best man. We’re looking for something fun and upbeat, Any unique ideas?
Also, what’s everyone using for their cake cutting song?

I love This Will Be by Natalie Cole for an entrance song!

We considered the following songs for our entrance:
Forever – Chris Brown. (FI nixed that one)
Lets Get Married (Remix) – Jagged Edge
Marry You – Bruno Mars
We ended up going with Lets Get Married by Jagged Edge, and it was funny but I kind of wish we went with Bruno Mars. Its such a cute song!
For cake cutting, we played Sugar Sugar by The Archies.

We used the Beatles ‘When I’m 64’ for our cake cutting song. We are both Beatles fans, so it was perfect for us, plus it’s upbeat and seemed to fit the playfulness of the moment really well.

- Wedding: October 2013 - The Fox Hill Inn
We used “Love You Madly” by the band Cake to cut our cake… It was a small/fun detail that most of our guests didn’t get (but our audiophile friends did!)

Thanks for your suggestons! We decided on a cake cutting song but no entrance songs are really doing it for us. we want something really upbeat but I think we want to stay away from rap, hip/hop. I have nothing against that genre but wanted something more classic that when we watch our wedding video years down the road we won’t think “why the heck did we choose that song” haha
