@misscupcake2012:  Hmmmm….what kind of feeling are you going for? fun and modern or traditional? also where are you etting married? Church or non-church venue? There are plenty of options out there and even just typing in “wedding recessional” into youtube should start you on the right track 🙂

What are the other songs that you are using?

@misscupcake2012:  Our recessional song was All You Need is Love by The Beathes.  It was fun and upbeat.  Its an older song, but I love it since it was played in Love Actually, one of my favorite movies.

We did ‘inches and falling’ by the format. Definitely not formal. “I love love, I love being in love, I don’t care what it does to me!”

Hmmm, given your other songs, I’d agree with pp about using “all you need is love”. I did think of some other upbeat/celebratory modern songs by bands like the Temper Trap but I don’t know if it’d work with the songs you already have. As for us, it’ll be pretty traditional and we’re probably going with “the arrival of the queen of sheba” by Handel as a recessional which I think that might be way too old to mix with your other songs :).
