I bought the cheap $1 glasses from the Dollar Tree and I have been thinking about doing something with them that doesnt require painting them because I know I won’t be able to do that.
I don’t want to add boring ribbon, I want something different but am drawing a huge blank on what to do…
what did you gals do..?

I would do only the
appliques or stencils
you can buy etching paste and do your initials or names

You don’t really need to have them perfect and you can use anything, construction paper cut into shapes, sparkle beads, just use your imagination by walking through a craft store!

Sorry for the big pic, I attempted to do the glitter ones via that tutorial a little while ago. They came out foggy looking where the glitter is sparse. I’m not a fan of how mine came out, but if you can get it to work, they’d be super cute!

@PoeticDoveInLA: I went back out today and redid mine. Acrylic paint (made dots using the end of a paint brush, not the brush, baked in the oven, & tada!) I like these much better and it was super easy!

@PoeticDoveInLA: Put some rubber bands around them and then spray frosted spraypaint over them and when you remove the rubber bands you’ll have a cool modern looking frosted wine glass. I dont think I described that well.. lol.

You could have them engraved. My father will engrave ours, he runs an engraving business 🙂
