idk if it's possible for you, but you should check out the Santa Barbara courthouse. It's absolutely gorgeous.
re: Pasadena City Hall - you can rent out the courtyard and it's BEAUTIFUL - but, yes - you have to bring everything in. If you call them, they'll send you a list of their fees. I'd say it ends up being around $3K in site rental stuff, if memory serves me correct.
Igot my marriage license @ the Santa Ana Court House. We just missed a wedding which is in a separate room.
Check out this website http://www.ocsd.org/ocgov/Clerk-Recorder%20-%20Tom%20Daly/Services/Marriage%20Services.
The provides info on the 3 locations you can get married @. My photographer, Nancy Orozco, photographed an elopement @ Laguna Hills courthouse.

PM me if you need additional info.
We are getting married at that court house. Its $100 rental fee for the upstairs room and it fits 100 people. But you only have it for 1 hour and the latest is the 3:30-4:30 slot. its beautiful. As far as getting paperwork done, you can do it before online or do it the same day. the license is $65 and the JOP is $25. If you need a witness they have them for rent (lol) for $25 too.
I can't wait for mine! Its so pretty there and I splurged on my photographer because that place is amazing
My Fiance and I are planning to do an intimate/small civil ceremony and reception. We'd lke to tie the knot in the big courtroom located in the old orange county courthouse in Santa Ana. I have one question, do they allow for an instrumental track to be played for entrance or how does the ceremony work?

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I'm semi-considering a nice, small courthouse wedding, but have only been able to find a little bit of information online.
I understand you can pay a fee to actually get a courtroom to yourself at the Old Orange County Courthouse in Santa Ana (so your family and friends can attend). Has anyone done this? What's the process like, what days/times can you do it, how many people can attend to watch?
I've also read that you can do ceremonies (and receptions??) at Pasadena City Hall. I have heard it's expensive though, because they charge fees for just about everything and it adds up. Anyone have an experience there?
Thank you!
