the attached pictures are two ideas i've come acrossed and liked. I am cutting out 2"x1" rectangles, using letter punches to put a persons name in the white paper and then backing the 2"x1" card with a 2.5"x1.5" piece of navy cardstock. I may end up writing a number somewhere on the front, probably after the name. the back of the navy cardstock will have a message about uploading photos of the wedding to a flickr account I plan to set up closer to the wedding.

I really wanted to do assigned seating, but it just won't work out. I deleted all of my inspiration pictures but 2 and the second one rabbit posted is one I had saved!
Here's the one I still have just because I think it is so cool.

It doesn't really help much for the seating chart/escort cards..but they're gorgeous placecards
my colors are Chocolate and Ivory and my accents are mostly peach and a bit of fuschia

This is what my fiance wanted to do . . . put their names up and as they arrive take a polaroid and use that as the escort card.

I went with a seat chart and my place cards I printed on Computer and I ll add some elements. I post some on here when they are done in the next month
What about getting some silk fall leaves (the individual ones that come in a bag or by the bunch at a place like Michael's or Hobby Lobby) and writing the names on them and then spraying them with some very fine glitter spray? Cheap and in line with your fall wedding timeline.
@LadyGoodman: I love the Polaroid idea! So cute and a great little momento. I love the couple kissing - so cute!

I was thinking of doing a seating chart. I need some Inspiration for the place cards. The paper is Ivory and IM thinking of using the printer with this idea I have in mind. IM also thinking of incorporating embelishments. Should I stay plain or go with embelishments? Would that be too tacky? IM looking for a romantic feel in my wedding reception. I know there are creative Brides out there please share your ideas or thoughts ,
