Hello Bees 🙂
Fiance and I are planning our engagement party and I have finished the invites. We were looking for something simple and elegant. I am sticking a few diamontes in the corner so there is some bling!
Sorry it is so blurry.. it looked small so I stretched it and made it big. Anyway we have finally organised the invitations and gathered all of our guest’s addresses. Now Future Mother-In-Law has suggested a registry. I don’t know if I think it is a good idea for the engagement.. because we both still live at home with parents and won’t be getting our own home for another 2 years (once we are married). I think a registry is a silly idea because all of our stuff will be sitting in the shed until I am ready to use it. Do you guys agree or should I be planning for the future, etc? I just feel that registries are for the bridal shower/kitchen tea and the wedding BUT Future Mother-In-Law believes it is tradition to give gifts at the engagement and money at the wedding, is this true? (we are Italian if that makes a difference :S)…… ANYWAY.. if I were to include a registry.. how do I do it? I don’t want to change the invite but I need to know how to attach this extra info. I don’t want people to feel obligated to buy off of it… Any cute ideas or thoughts?
