I would use something with serifs. Bedini, Phosphorus Sulphide and Weiss are great free ones.

I am using a smiliar script to yours (Sudestada) and am contrasting it with copperplate gothic light.

I would make your names a little bigger – that’s supposed to be the focus but it’s kind of hard to see/read

@Whitney818:  Yes, I meant your names in the middle, not at the top.  I know what you mean about the bold, that would help.  The other text is so plain and easy to read that it pops out more.  If making the names bigger doesn’t help, maybe look around for some other plain text that’s less… hmmm.. basic computer font?  (This looks like Ariel or one of those ones you always see…)

    Looks nice though!

@Whitney818:  Here is a sample of what it looks like. I took a pictre of my computer screen, which is why it looks a little strange

I’d suggest putting the reception information on its own card.  I had a similar problem of trying to squeeze too much information on the invitation itself, and it ends up looking too crowded.

Also, don’t put “dinner and dancing to follow.”  That means that the reception follows immediately after the ceremony.  Unless you’re having a 4 hour ceremony, that’s incorrect.  Instead, opt for the phrasing, “Please join us for dinner and dancing…” followed by the reception hall information.  Otherwise, I love it!

Oh, one more thing, I think it’s supposed to be “two thousand and thirteen.”

@Whitney818:  I was able to print 4 response/ accomodation/ reception cards per page, so the printing cost shouldn’t be too outrageous.

If you are doing inserts, I would remove the information about the reception and put it on a separate card, leaving only the “dinner and dancing to follow” line.  This would give you more room to make your names larger, as a PP suggested.  Otherwise they look very nice.

Also, both “two thousand thirteen” and “two thousand and thirteen” are correct. Using “and” is the less formal option. As you have used “request the honour of your presence”, I would stick with the more formal option as you’ve done.

@Whitney818:  What I did instead of going bold was to up the font size just a little bit to make the names stand out. If you want to make them stand out more. I think they look lovely!

Take out the zip code, lowercase the word “Son,” and add a comma after “Saturday”

Also, if you want to keep the reception info on there, I’d reduce the Dinner and Dancing to follow to a smaller size in the sans serif font and take out the city and state since those haven’t changed.
