Just looking for a bit of feedback on menu cards. Especially from those that did them.
I know they aren’t needed but can be a nice touch. I would be doing them myself so am not looking to take on a huge project at this time so something simple. Rather than making individual menu cards, I have also seen people do one framed menu card at the table. What do you think about this? Is it even looked at? It seems easier than doing 150 individual cards (which get wasted of course) but if no one looks at the framed one it doesn’t make sense to do it.
Any advice or suggestions from your wedding or weddings you have been to?

I’ve actually only been to one wedding that had the menu printed. The others were buffet style and others I’ve had waiters come to the table to tell us. The one that had a menu presented had a full sheet of paper with the menu on it and it was placed on all the plates. Since there were so many options, it was helpful to see it, but if it were limited in choices, then I wouldn’t see the need.

Besides just trying to make things extra special I really only have two reasons for them being necessary lol
One of our cake choices has coconut and we have a strong number of nut allergies.
The only other reason is we are having a late night ice cream sundae buffet and I wanted guests to know there is going to be a treat!

I seen it printed and place on the table, the only thing I would say if you are having large tables consider doing one for each side.

We also made them double-sided so more people could see it at once.

We had one printed for each guest and it will be tucked into the napkin. I just liked the look and thought it added a little something. I just got a sample yesterday and they are gorgeous!
However, I don’t think it is a requirement to have one per guest. If you have it displayed in a way that all the guests at the table could see it or access it that should be fine. I think the two-sided suggestion above is a great idea.
