I think I’m just venting. Just came back from my second fitting, knew that the dress needed to be let out 4 inches but didn’t know how it would look until today. The tailor did a very good job using extra material from the hem and put some kind of panels on the sides and tried his best to match the asymmetrical pattern of the dress. From the front and back everything looks normal but when I lift my arms up, the sides are ghastly! It just changes the look of the dress. My tailor assured me that some of the beading will cover up the sides to make it look less obvious. My wedding is in 3 weeks so I think it’s too late to find another dress. I’m just have dress remorse! Anyone else let their dress out in this fashion?

Do you have any pictures? Maybe it’s not as noticeable as you think.

I’m sorry you feel it looks bad but I’m sure it isn’t as bad as you think. Plus, how many pictures will you have with your arms raised up in the air?

Isn’t the most important thing that it fits? I’m sure it’s not as bad as you think.

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy: Well, when they dance her arms will be up, along with any cake cutting or feeding, or toasts…

@globabee99: Post some pics when you get them! It’s most likely not as bad as you think 😀
