I need songs for prelude, processional, interlude (unity candle, sand ceremony), recessional, and postlude. We would like to keep the mood light and cheerful. We have some religious aspects in the ceremony, but it will not be held in a church.
Please no country or classical music selections, as they won’t be considered. ( personal distaste)
The Fiance and I like old blues, jazz, soul, mo-town, and a few more current bands.
What are your music selections?

We used The Beatles for our processional (“Here, There and Everywhere”). “Something” was also in the running.

@Mrs.ChubbyBunny: Theme from “Titanic”? “Sentimental” by Kenny G? 😀

Look up Django Reinhardt! (I’m using it for my reception “background” music!)

Why not check out some jazz standards? There are tons of cute ballads. I love the song “Polka Dots and Moonbeams”. You can find ‘jazz standards’ on google, and then look up the songs on youtube to hear what they sound like. Good luck!

“Butterfly Waltz” by Brian Crain is a beautiful, intrumental song! He also has sheet music available at his website. You can listen to it on Youtube. There is one version with a piano/violin duet, that is especially pretty!

The Vitamin String Quartet has amazing arrangements of practically every (modern) song you could think of. I’m walking down the aisle to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81XL32QK1p8 Paramore – Hallelujah. It is epic.
