I love your idea and I think the lights hanging from the ceiling are really cool looking - how unique! You can keep the table decor relatively simple (white and ice is good) because those lights are such a statement.
@SweetAdeline - Thank you! I love the lights as well. The tables will have white table cloths on them and the chairs more than likely will have white covers. I was afraid my centerpiece idea might take away from the lights hanging, but now I'm thinking it might really look nice! Thanks so much for your suggestion!

@Dancy905 - I actually copied that description from theknot.com, lol I didn't even notice the melting ice vase. I don't want that. I just want normal vases lol. Thanks for bringing that to my attention :)
@NL: I completely agree with you. I like the first one without crystals. I think it would compliment the hanging lights rather than compete with them. The venue has great sparkle without crystals.
@jordynrose - Thanks! I really wish I had a better picture of the venue. The outside is gorgeous. The room looks really pretty once everything is set up, it's just hard to visualize it now based on the picture I have uploaded. Thanks for your suggestions though! I really love those pictures :D

I need some centerpiece help, bees. I'm trying to decide on centerpiece decorations for my winter wedding. I've been thinking lately about using tall vases on the reception tables. I want to fill the vases with tall winter-white branches and hang crystals to reflect the light from the tables. Then I want to surround the centerpieces with votive candles. I'm having a hard time finding picture inspiration for this, however.
Also, how do you think this would look? At the venue we have chosen, during the winter they hang Christmas lights from the ceiling that hang down and they are variations of colors (light blue, dark blue and white) and I LOVE this because it goes with our color scheme anyways. How would that look with the crystals from the branches reflecting off of that?
I feel like my description of the venue makes it sound ugly, but it really is pretty! I've attached a picture, which really does it no justice, to give you an idea of what I mean. And by the way, the room lighting will be WAY different at our wedding. The lights were off in this picture. & the tables will have white tablecloths on them, so ignore them in this picture.
So, any help bees? I need suggestions!
