So neither one of these skinny minnies is me but I was wondering if you think this wrap/jacket would look good with this dress. I dont want to really hide any of the dress but I DO want to hide my arms. I thought that the ruffels would go with eachtoher.

Personally, I think it would be a bit much, but if that is your personality, you could probably pull it off. If it were me, I would go with a simpler style; without the ruffles.

I think with all the detail on the dress the ruffle would definitely be too much… if I had any kind of detail on the wrap I’d probably go for something that matched the detail on the dress (what ever kind of detail it’s called.. lol)

I don’t think those quite work together, just because they’re different kinds of ruffles, if that makes sense.

Because that dress has SO much going on already, I would look for a wrap that is very very plain.

Thanks girls, I was kinda thinking it was too much too. I have a really hard time finding jackets that fit my arms so I thought that would be a good choice. I also thought of doing a spanish style shawl but it would cover too much of the back of the dress. I am still debating if I am going to wear a jacket/wrap everyone says I shouldn’t but they arent me and I have to be comforable. I dunno….

I just wanted to say that dress is GORGEOUS 🙂 however I also think the ruffle on the wrap is a bit much 🙁

I ended up ordering some fabric from the designer and my seamstress is going to make me a simple shrug so I have the option of covering up. I’ve tried on a few styles, and short sleeve was not good. Made my arms look worse! 3/4 length was the best and it’s going to cost about $100 to have it made. Since I’m having it made, it can be done in the style I want. Maybe you can look into that?
