Oh my gosh, how cute are you? These are adorable! I love the first one the most, I think, because the whimsical shape of the flower contrasts nicely with the sharp lines of the "T." Great job!
I, too, love the first flower the most....but I really like the pearls, too! What do the Ts stand for?
OMgosh I love these. I love all the rosettes (orange is one of my wedding colors too) but if your aiming for the shabby-chic feel I'd go with rosette three or four with the pearls.
i like the shape of #1 too, but the little beads in the middle KILL me.
is placement ok? i didn't want to smack them in the middle and call it a day.
@Juliepants: his last name starts with T :)
@sapphiregriffin: i'm thinking the same, wanted some other opinions as well though. what colors are you using besides orange?
@Gemstone: thank you!! so sweet!
Love the first and fourth ones! Those really are super cute. You did a good job!
@thursdayschild: thanks! just photoshopped the pearls on the last one... couldn't bring myself to buy any at the store i was at because they were WAAAY over priced.
Where can i get some good pearl looking type beads without paying an arm and a leg? it would be cool if i could get a lot and use them for other projects too ;) just sayin!
@AliveWithLove: I like the first flower the best. I am using a lot of pearls in my decor and found that the best way for me to buy them is to get the long strand necklaces from the dollar store and just take them apart. Each necklace had about 100 beads on it so for $10 I got 1000 beads.
@AliveWithLove: I'm using the alfred angelo cobalt blue for my bridesmaid dresses. It matches the blue in my engagement ring perfectly (center sapphire stone). We are also using white and probably some silver as my dress has sparkily silver beading. I just made some blue fabric flowers to use the other day.
are these too plain?
@sapphiregriffin: sounds gorgeous! i'm using regency purple from davids bridal!
You could use pearl head pins instead of beads, v cheap and no need for glue.
ETA sorry I justrealized you wanted dangly beads rather than middle of the flower.
Where did you buy your letter form? I would love to replicate as table numbers!
Jo Ann fabrics has a ton of nice looking pearl beads. I have had good luck with finding ones i like there!
That looks great! I like the first flower first.

Just did this... only took about 30 minutes to wrap but I'm still not finished!
I bought a pack of three orange rosettes, can't decide which to use. Our reception is at the church, trying for a shabby chic with pops of color look. thinking about putting this on the head table maybe, or with the cake? not sure.
also thinking about getting some pearls to attach to this... something like this:
help? please?
