Hi everyone. I had my first fitting this weekend, and I’m having mixed feelings. I never thought I’d post an “I’m having second feelings” post, but here I am. This sucks because it is a significant amount of money, and I want to love my dress. There’s no way I can change it at this point. I’m beginning to wonder if I should have gone with a slimmer silhouette instead of a ballgown, and wondering how flattering it actually is and if it will look nice in photos.
My parents love it. I’m a little worried there’s too much cleavage and that’s the main thing that everyone will be staring at while I walk down the aisle. I’m just so lukewarm on it, which is upsetting. :/ What do you guys think?
This is only my first fitting so the length and bustle are obviously going to look nicer when the alterations are actually completed, and the belt will be sewn on.

I think it’s very very pretty. I think maybe you could look into getting a modesty panel put in to cover up the cleavage? They might even be able to rouche it so it looks like the rest of the dress or that it belongs there. You would have to find a good seamstress but it could be done. By The Way I’m totally jealous of your dress!! It’s gorgeous and you look amazing in it.

I don’t think there is too much cleavage, and to be honest I didn’t read the post at first just looked at the pictures and my eyes weren’t drawn to your cleavage at all. I was immediately looking at the detail on the bottom (gorgeous by the way). But if you think it’s too much cleavage you can always add a modesty panel to cover up a little more.

Honestly, I think it looks great. I don’t mind the amount of cleavage you have and it actually looks kinda nice, IMO, to have some in that kind of dress. You look gorgeous and I love your dress!

I don’t think there’s too much cleavage at all. But it matters how you feel in it, and if it will make you self-conscious you can add a modesty panel.
Had to also say that I ADORE your dress. I’ve never seen that one before and it’s stunning and extremely flattering!

I don’t think there is to much cleavage either, in fact that dress looks beautiful on you. I love it.

You look stunning!! The dress is so pretty and I don’t think “too much cleavage” at all.. the first thing my eyes were drawn to was your tiny waist!! Hope it all works out for you! 🙂

I didn’t notice cleavage but your tiny little waist! I think it looks great! But if you are uncomfortable, see what alteration can be done.

Girl, you are stunning in this gown! The cleavage doesn’t bother me one bit – the dress is so fabulous!

WOW that is beautiful and I love it! I don’t think it is too much cleavage at all. My eye is drown to how small your waist is and all that beautiful detailing. 🙂

It’s gorgeous! And I don’t think there’s too much clevage, but if you feel uncomfortable, get a modesty panel put in. It’s all about how you feel.

Oh my gosh, I am in love with your dress. You look amazing! I don’t think you have too much cleavage showing at all. But like the other ladies mentioned if you really feel uncomfortable, you can have them add a modesty panel. But honestly I don’t think you should feel like you need one.
