BF and I went ring shopping several weekends in a row and I thought I found “the one”. I really really loved it when I saw it. It basically had everything I wanted. I don’t like halo’s, three diamond bands, solitares, etc.
Anyway, the more I look at it online, the more I am like, I’m not sure. Maybe it is just because I am looking at it too much. So I guess I just want some opinions.
Believe me, if he surprised me with it tomorrow, I WOULD NOT be unhappy. I guess I just keep doubting myself because I keep looking.
This is the one I (think) decided on. I would be getting a 1 ct princess cut. I kept looking at it and was like, well maybe it is too messy looking. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but there are a lot of little pave diamonds and sometimes I look at it and feel like it looks messy and sometimes I look at it and think its nice. LOL. Then, I have small, long, skinny fingers (size 4.5)… do you think this band is too much? I don’t have picture of it on my hand (the store doesn’t allow pictures…grrr). But do you think it is too wide? Basically I love this ring but I keep having doubts and maybe it is because I keep looking too much at it.
This was the other one I was thinking about which I never got to try on. They didn’t have this one in the store. It is from the same collection so it is very similar. The only thing I am not crazy about is that is seems like it may sit higher… and since I haven’t tried it on I don’t really know how much higher. I prefer a ring that sits lower on my finger.
I haven’t even mentioned the second one to my BF. So I am just trying to get other opinons… my mom likes the first one but she likes any kind of jewelry so she is not a great judge. LOL. My friends like it too in pictures. Maybe I should just stop obsessing… my bf is probably going to kill me if I make him go back to the store one more time. Haha
Thank you! 🙂

@forray99: Those rings are amazing. I like the first one better, but if you’re going to wear the e-ring with a wedding band on the same finger you may want to consider the second one. I have a ring with pave stones on the sides of the ring like the first one you’re looking at and it’s a bit difficult to find a wedding band for it, plus nobody will see the stones on the side of the ring if you’re wearing a band next to it.

i think the 2nd one looks cleaner w/o the pave on the side.
pp makes a good point about wearing a band with the rings. the pave sides would not be a good idea. they would rub and no one would see them.
you should make a poll.

@mypinkshoes: Good idea about the poll!!

I like both.
For longevity, and lack of maintenance I am not a huge pave lover, so ring # 2 would get my vote.

They’re both beautiful, but I like the 2nd one a lot better. I think it will be less maintenance (all those stones to worry about) and will look better with a wedding band.

I like the first one better.

They are so similar. I hate to say it, but I think you’re overthinking it. Show him both and let him pick. They are both gorgeous.

I like ring 1 more. It was hard deciding because they are so similar but what sold me on the first one was the miligrain work along the side stones. Makes it look more rich. I don’t think it’s too much bling. But in the end, go with what your heart wants. If you think it’s “too much” for you, then go with number two. Keep in mind the wedding band will give you even more bling, so if you really don’t want “too much” then go with number 2. Also, I don’t think ring 1 is too busy for your ring size.

Overall I like #1 better, but I agree with everyone, unless you will have your wedding band sodered to it so the diamonds don’t rub, #2 is a more practical choice.
