Shelby692:  You would not want a hoop skirt as it’s uncomfortable to sit in. It bounces up as you sit.

A ballgown (full-length) petticoat should suffice. If you needed more volume or balance the volume, get a seamstress to add more tulle accordingly to your petticoat. I had to get tulle added to mine because the dress shop made me order many sizes too big.

Shelby692:  I agree with PP, dont get a hoop skirt. I think the one you posted should be ok, bu tI would check what its made out of, as some materials will condense under a dress(meaning less poof under a skirt as when worn by itself).
