I use this: Surgi-Wax Brazilian Wax

But only for bikini area…not a Brazilian (despite the name of the product); I think I have to have one done by a pro at least once before I’m brave enough to attempt it on my own 🙂

I use the Sally Hansen microwavable hard wax (you do not need strips) and it works wonderfully.  The only place I have been able to find it, though, is Target.  It costs about $14, and lasts for about 6-7 sessions.

I’ve been waxing for more than 10 years at home, and I always use Gigi brand. They have a microwavable jar that makes waxing so easy, that way you don’t have to buy one of those wax warming contraptions. This might sound odd, but the best strips to use are actually cut up sheets! Just find a 100% cotton sheet at a goodwill or something and cut it into strips, and voila! I use an old butterknife or a large popsicle stick to apply the wax.
