The zoo, Alamo, Missions (I have a friend who did her bridals at a few of them and they turned out really beautiful!) , the downtown area is really pretty too.
How bout the Japanese Tea Garden, loacted at 3875 N Saint Marys St, San Antonio, is a great loaction..and Free. But of you go on a week-end, there is always someone getting married, but the park still remians open. Good Luck!
Thanks for your recommendations. . .
I did some 'research' on the places you told me, and found some e-pics taken at those places, so to give back to the hive here is, in the words of my FI, a 'very good and comprehensive' list of the San Antonio spots:

wow ocam, thanks for sharing! You really did your research! Hopefully some of these will work out for us.
How did yours turn out?
I live here in SA, and without a doubt the McNay!! I'm having mine done there.
I'm also planning on doing a shoot at Comanche Hill. I'd say look at that place too, some of the paths are GORGEOUS this time of year, but on a Sunday it might be super busy and it might be hard to get people out of your shots. Couldn't hurt to stop by though!

ugh those pics don't do it justice. I go walking through there with the bf, and I swear I'm in Narnia or something. Bunnies randomly come out! The trees tower over everywhere! And once you climb to the top, there's this mini castle thing. If you can I'd swing for about an hour before sunset.
If you don't want to chance all that though, the McNay is definitely the way to go. It's always super pretty.
Could try the Botanical Gardens too. I'd be iffy about the Sunken Gardens... LOTS of people and sometimes it just looks a little dingy.

Hi everyone!
My fiance and I will be going to San Antonio next weekend to have our Engagement Pictures taken (we are actually going to a friend's weeding but we'll handle both things)
And since I live in Houston, I don't know where is a good spot. . .
Have in mind that it will be on a Sunday morning :)
Thanks for your help!
