Since I only looked around for places in Long Beach where we are getting married, I dont know of too many places in OC. But, I do know that Maggiano’s at South Coast Plaza has a beautiful banquet space and the pricing isnt too bad. I have also know of someone who had their rehearsal at the Spaghetti Factory on the Penninsula since their rehearsal was on a boat. But I dont think they had private room options.

My sister got married in Newport and had her rehearsal dinner at Joe’s Crab Shack.  It was really fun and it’s right on the water.

I’m not sure if this is too far away from your venue or not but there is a great little Mexican restaurant in San Juan Capistrano called El Adobe (it’s right by the mission) that has 2 different private rooms depending on the size of your party.  The food is great and the atmosphere is really fun too.
