So I really want to make all the paper products for our wedding, to cut down on some costs. I’m very crafty & so is my Maid/Matron of Honor. But I’ve never done anything paper related, starting to doubt myself. What did you use to make your diy? Someone told me microsoft publisher. Can anyone reccomend paper websites? I really want that swirl kind of look & a monogram. Any advice????

give yourself plenty of time. you just have to play around with the program and design until you get a feel for it. eventually you’ll learn what fonts go together and how to manipulate certain things.
practice and find a lot of inspiration!

I totally love browsing JoAnns in their scrapbook paper section! Go touch and feel! Go to a Scrapbook store and dont be afraid to ask questions or ask if they do classes.
^^^^ love that website!! Really helps and breaks down all the sizing for you!
We made our Engaement Picnic invites and I wanted postcard size, so I was in Staples and they had preferated Post cards that you could print on, YAY! So all I had to worry about was design, sizing and printing! They came out great, I really loved them!
A friend of mine is also designing them and then uploding them on Magnet Street or you could even check out Vista Print, was going to do that for my 4×9 invite idea, they had “Rack Card” in those dimensions!
I dont mean to discourage you, but I ended up getting “Printables” from Michaels (+40% off coupons). My main concern and reason was for as much as I was spending, I realized that most people wont keep it forever. I was going to do linen pocketfolds and fancy paper, but then thought, thats too nice for the trash! hehe!
Best of Luck!!!
