Hey Bees! So, I got my dress and it’s absolutely beautiful. The first 2 times I tried it on I felt so beautiful. I don’t know what happened but this last time I tried it on I started pointing out all my flaws. My wedding isn’t for 5 months but I feel like a cow. I just want to look beautiful on my big day–I guess I just need some encouraging words.

Heck, without a picture, I can tell you – you look gorgeous in the gown. That’s why you bought it! Picking on your flaws (which they aren’t, they’re just parts of you that deviate from what the media tells us is beautiful, so that corporations can sell weight loss products and gym memberships) I would guess is part of pre-wedding anxiety. I’d say put the dress on again (if you can, or when you can) and force yourself to focus on how gorgeous you are in it and how it makes you feel.
And if you want, post a picture, so we can ooh and ahh over you in your dress!

I am sure that you look gorgeous in it especially if you loved it the first two times, I am thinking that wedding nerves are making you pick out any flaws you think you may have. Sounds like you are being too hard on yourself! You will look beautiful on your day and I am sure that your fiance will love seeing you in a lovely dress!

One thing you won’t have until your wedding day is the bridal glow. Seriously, don’t underestimate it! You’ll be so happy, so excited, surrounded by all your friends and family… You’ll be beautiful even if you showed up in jeans and a hoodie! I look back at my pictures and I’m so dang happy, it’s nauseating. :). Flip through the recaps and see if you don’t see what I mean!
